Your data, properly handled
Loud on stage, careful with your data. Here you can read which data harryrammelstein.nl processes, why, and what your rights are.
Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Translation of the Dutch version; in case of doubt the Dutch version prevails.
Who is responsible?
This website belongs to Harry Rammelstein ("we"). We are responsible for the processing of personal data through this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Questions about privacy? Get in touch via the booking form.
Booking form
If you request a show via the booking form , we process your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of event, the date, the venue, the expected number of guests and your message. We do this to answer your request and prepare a possible booking (legal basis: pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract). Your request is stored in the website's admin area and forwarded to us by email. We keep requests no longer than needed to handle them and for our records.
Reviews
If you leave a review, we process the name you enter, your rating, your text and, if given, your email address. Every review is checked before it is published. On the site we only show your name (or initials, as you enter them), your rating and your text – never your email address (legal basis: consent). Want your review removed? Send us an email and we'll sort it.
Party Mauer uploads
On the Party Mauer you can share photos and short videos from a show, optionally with a name and a caption. Uploading anonymously is fine too. Only upload images you took yourself and that the people in them are happy to see online.
- Moderation with Sightengine. To keep out inappropriate images, every upload is automatically checked by the Sightengine service. The file is sent to Sightengine temporarily and used for this check only. We may also review uploads manually.
- Steins (likes). To prevent abuse we store an encrypted (hashed) value of your IP address and a random device ID. We never store your IP address itself in readable form.
- Email alerts (optional). If you tick "Give me a heads-up" when uploading, we only store your email address, the party and the language, with the time of your consent. You'll get a confirmation email first; without confirmation we send nothing and delete your address after 3 days. After that we only email about steins on your upload, new photos from that party (at most one email a day) and the party recap. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your data immediately. At the latest 60 days after the show we delete everything automatically. Legal basis: consent.
- Removal. Are you in a photo and want it gone? Send us the link to the photo via the booking form and we'll take it offline as soon as possible.
Legal basis: consent (you choose to upload) and our legitimate interest in a safe, tidy gallery.
Email (Gmail)
Messages from the forms are sent via Gmail's (Google's) SMTP server. If you email us directly, your message arrives in our Gmail mailbox. Google processes this data as a service provider. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; appropriate safeguards apply, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
YouTube videos
Videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play yourself; until then you only see a still image hosted on our own server. Once you click, YouTube's (Google's) terms and privacy policy apply.
Cookies and local storage
We use no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics services. Only functional storage the site needs to work:
- a functional cookie / local storage for the Party Mauer, so nobody can hand out unlimited steins;
- technical WordPress cookies when you log in to the admin area (administrators only).
Functional cookies don't require consent. That's why you won't see a cookie banner here.
Sharing with others
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers needed to run the site (hosting, Gmail, Sightengine) or when the law requires us to.
Security
The site runs over a secure connection (https). Forms are protected against spam and abuse, and only administrators can access submitted data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object, to restrict processing and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request via the booking form or call +31 6 45 45 41 05; you'll get an answer within a month. Not happy with how we handle your data? You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – for example the one in your country, or the Dutch authority responsible for us, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If the site changes, we update this statement. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
