The story behind the music

This is Schlager Metal

From crybaby with a follow spot to frontman of the conga-line mosh pit. The (almost) true story of Harry Rammelstein.

About Harry Rammelstein

The untamed love child of a roaring metal riff and a beer-soaked sing-along. No polished small talk, but a wall of sound, ripped straight from real life. Forged on the road, blessed with a cheeky grin and powered by pure rock force.

Zero brakes. Full throttle.

Chapter 01

The early days

Born for the spotlight.

Where normal babies cried for milk, Harry demanded a follow spot, a smoke machine und ein Podium. Sitting still was simply not an option. While the neighbourhood kids dutifully practised the recorder, his speakers were set to hearing-damage level.

In his teenage bedroom he fought an inner war: headbanging to brutal metal with his left hand, pumping in the schlager vibe with his right. The result? A musical nuclear explosion.

Chapter 02

Chasing the dream

Blood. Sweat. And broken strings.

Try telling a hardcore metalhead his riff needs a schlager vibe. Or a carnival club that the bass guitar is about to rearrange their insides.

Years of pounding away in sweaty rehearsal rooms that made the neighbours move out on the spot. But the fire never died: keep bouncing, keep writing, keep rattling, until the sound stood like a tank.

Chapter 03

Onto the stage

Total live anarchy.

The moment Harry steps into the spotlight, everything melts together. Amps on ten, the bass rumbling right through your backside and Harry flying across the stage like a runaway tornado.

Within two minutes the most hardened metalhead is arm in arm with a schlager fan in a conga-line mosh pit. Completely bonkers, red hot, and that energy from the floor is exactly what fuels the show.
